I am not regretful for what I am proclaiming,
Because I have ruminated over it again and again.

Because gems like you are rare and few.
You became an iron gate, blocking the fire,
Whenever I got swayed by emotions and desires.
Was that your maturity or love for me?
That didn’t bind me but set me free?
It gave me space to reason out things,
I felt like a liberated bird endowed with wings.
So, here am I all set for the flight,
Without any vacillation or fright.
How can I express my gratitude for all that you have done?
