As writers, we are passionate about our art, and most of us are in quest of an opportunity ~ an opportunity to showcase our art to the world, an opportunity to thrive with our passion, an opportunity to captivate hearts with the beauty of our writing, an opportunity to sway minds with the power and purpose of our words. But opportunity doesn’t always come knocking at your door, it’s you who have to seize it. Becoming a published writer is like getting knighted, the pride we feel in ourselves is similar. But becoming published isn’t a piece of cake, the amount of rejections and tireless striving one has to go through is part of the ritual of progress. Besides, the whole process can be discouraging. Being well acquainted with all of this, an educator turned entrepreneur is on a humble mission of providing a platform to students and educators across the globe which will make them published poets and writers.
THE IMPISH LASS PUBLISHING HOUSE has a noble motto: EVERY SOUL THAT WRITES HAS A RIGHT TO GET PUBLISHED. ‘THE YOUNG BARDS PROJECT’ is a pilot project of the publishing house with the aim to get all the talented writers in the form of students and educators published for free. The project, which is the brain child of the one and only Ms Meena Mishra, turns every writers’ dream into reality.
